I want a lot of pets!

Ever since I was little, I wanted many many pets! Especially furry ones because they are cuddly and cute! My mom wouldn't let me have any because they poop and she doesn't want to clean after them. She says I can have a pet rock because they don't do anything -_____-" what's the point of having a pet that doesn't do anything? What kind of companion is that?

I made many attempts to have pets even though mommy doesn't like it. With my own allowance, I bought home a puppy! I was very happy for one week until one day I came home and my puppy was gone. Mommy gave him away.

Now I am older, I can have my own to take care but I have to be reasonable or my pet will suffer.

Meet my gerbil, Whitey!
He is not actually white but more tan??? I think I gave him a cuter name before but it was too difficult to remember and say so Whitey got stuck. Here, he looks like he just woke up. I don't know why he doesn't sleep in his acorn house. The person at Petco told me they love acorn houses. I think maybe they tricked me to spend more money.

Whitey has a brother...Blacky. Okay I am very creative with names. Blacky ran away when I was cleaning their cage and I never found him again... I hope he has plenty to eat and is safe! I don't want to think about it anymore. I hate to admit that I lost him.

Whitey is alone now and I don't want to introduce another friend to him because they might bite each other's head off. Better safe than sorry!

Taking pics of him is so hard, he keeps moving around. I think he knows I am invading his privacy.

This is his little place to clean his fur. Well it's not really cleaning but to make their coat less oily??? Coincidentally, this is also the only cardboard box he doesn't chew out. I wanted to get him a nicer place for bath/dusting but have yet to find one for his size.

So far, I have to say I am content with Whitey. I love him very much even though he doesn't always like me handling him.  He is easy to take care of. One strange thing about him is that he doesn't like to run on the wheel. I bought the metal kind so he can't chew on it and will last longer, but....Whitey likes to knock it over and try to bite it.

In the future, I'd like to have a pet bunny, cat, or a dog. I don't think my boyfriend would approve. It seems like I always have to get approval from someone to keep a pet.

So annoying ah!
