Last Minute Post: Excited and so hungry!

Woke up today around 9, brushed my teeth and went back to sleep.

What was the purpose of that? Woke up again and brushed my teeth, again.

This sound quite sad, as if my life is so meaningless!

Spend the rest of the day bumming around and occasionally packing because today ~ I am going back to New York!

It's Labor's Day on Monday so I can stay longer and be happy!

Ever since I returned to MA, I've been so depressed and emotional. But the thought of being back in the city  puts my mind straight to LA LA land! *eyes twinkle*

The agenda for this weekend is for Winnie's Make-Up Party! Wtf is that? I don't know! But she is my dear friend and I'll waste 4hr on the bus back for her. Not to mention, Sa & Steph (SS) will be hanging out with me on Sunday night with their bf's =D It's a triple date!

HAHA!

I've never been on a double date, yet I'm going on a triple date! I thinkI'm missing a step here!

Lastly, I'm very hungry because brushing my teeth 2x today was so redundant, however my mouth feels very fresh and clean. I don't want to eat to ruin that feeling.

Look at the time (4pm) , I'm going to head out now. My boyfriend predicts that the bus terminal is going to be extremely crowded today.

Eh... I bought a hydrating mask to relax in on the bus. All that dirty air being recycled and reused all around is...UGH! I don't want to think about it.

Bye!

NY Weekend

I am back in Boston, MA and golly I am bored. Don't ask me where to tour/visit because I wouldn't know. If I did, I would not be dying here.... you can see vultures outside my house, patiently waiting...

Anyway! I went to visit NY last weekend and it is full of fun! My cousin Frank came to visit and that's the main reason why I had to rush back.  I stayed for two days and two nights? That's four hours back and forth. That's a lof time wasted sitting on the bus, I could be doing other things!!!

Speaking of which, why do people always insist that the things we do should be productive or else we've wasted our time. How does that make any sense? What if we're being productive but we do not enjoy it? We have only one life, not enjoying it to the fullest is being fucking wasteful! Okay, I digress.

Here's a pic of the dude I adore in my family, other than dad and bro.

Me, Frank, and bro
My friend Judy saw this pic and said we all look alike. Do we? I think Frank and my bro somewhat resemble each other.

And like every other Chinese family gathering, we have dimsum or known as tea time!

I haven't seen my parents in ages!

Person 1, Person 2, and mom
Person 1 and 2 are family as well, I just do not know how to translate their relationship to me in English. But, look that's my mom.

Surprisingly, there was less bickering over who pays the bill. It's a typical Asian thing that occurs about 90% of the time.

Moving on!

So one of the cool places I went to check this weekend is an Italian Market called Eataly. Get it?

200 5th Avenue  New York, NY 10010

Incoming loads of pics!

There's a bakery inside!

Hummus! Yum!

Selling pasta and there's little tables for you hang and munch food on! Probably can't see the tables in this pic.

Surprised to see this much cheese? I feel bad for whomever is lactose intolerant.

Yummy!

This looks hella greasy, but it was really good. I am not kidding!

At Eataly, there's even a restaurant! It must be pretty well known because there was a long long line. I'm assuming long line = really amazing food, but Eunice (Frank's gf) subtly indicated with the shake of her head that it wasn't that amazing. I'll give it a chance next time I visit again.

Next stop after Eataly as China Town's Original Ice Cream Factory.

I can vouch for this place! Don't want your typical chocolate and vanilla, then come here!

65 Bayard St., New York, NY 10013

One of the menu (boards?) listing out some of the flavors.

Flavors: Banana, Pistachio, Coconut, Mocha Chip
Just to give you an idea what kind of your flavors you should expect. Off of my head, I believe there's also, lychee, mango, strawberry cheesecake, green tea, red bean, zen butter, taro... etc.etc.!!!

Left: I forgot what flavor these are! HAA sorry!
Right: Zen Butter     ==> Tastes a lot like vanilla bean.

Left: Lime/Lemon        => Yeah,  I don't know why someone would get that combo.
Right: Lychee/Mango          => My typical order here! It's so good!

The ice cream shop is a really small area wedge between two restaurants (I think..) and it's pretty easy to find. There's so many flavors; it can get pretty overwhelming but  they do allow sample tasting.

Okay, I am going to abruptly end this post here! Because my fingers are tired now.

Might update a bit more later.

Summer 2012

Updated!

Summer and I have a hate and more hate relationship. It's always too hot to dress up or go out. Which is why I don't have anything to update, ever. The moment summer rolls around, expect this blog to go on haitus.

So what is there to do when it's too hot to go out? I don't know about you, but I enjoy playing online computer games, mainly MMORPG. Right now, I am indulging in WoW aka World of Warcraft. For you none WoW players, there's a new expansion coming out this September called, Mist of Pandaria. In this expansion, we can finally become one with the Panda, as well as, a new class - the Monk!
Monks are masters of bare-handed combat, choosing to draw their weapons only for devastating finishing moves. Monk healers bring harmony and balance to every group, healing even the most grievous of injuries with ancient remedies and focused spiritual arts. And few can hope to out-last the unquenchable prowess of the Monk Brewmaster, whose empowering beverages and unpredictable combat style allow them to absorb incredible amounts of punishment.                                                  - More? Click here.

The Panda race look like this:

Of course, new raids, talent specialization, etc.etc. content will be updated.

I have been playing WoW since the Burning Crusades; that my friend is a freaken long time. This is one the few games I always come back to because it is that awesome. This summer, I created an Orc Hunter on Skullcrusher server and I am raiding with my buddies in an exclusive French guild which is so awesome because I get to listen to the sexy accent of French players. Yum! Oh and HORDE FTW.

Check out the cinematics for MoP:

Pretty exciting, right? Can't wait!

Added screen shots of my new toon!

My quest requires me to kill this turtle. Here, my toon is posing with it before it dies.

This is Tortolla, the 'good' turtle I think that doesn't need to be slaughtered. His name just reminds me of Mexican food.

Okay, I think that is enough game rambling for now.

Here are some pictures of cute animals at Central Park Zoo that I went to visit last weekend!
Duck..duck...duck...GOOSE!

It took a long time to capture this one. It kept hopping around and around whenever I point the camera at it.
This baby goat was the Children Zoo or Petting Zoo at Central Park, NY. Out of all the goats there, it wasn't ramming its head into people's hand for food.
I think this is called the Apacha? I am probably wrong, but isn't he/she handsome?
Very limited picture of the snow leopard. The rest had its ass facing the camera.
Ended the trip with Dipping Dots. If you've never tried it, get on to it. It's like frozen cotton candy! Cool, sweet, and melts in your mouth.
